Art is all around us. While you may expect art to come from the talent and genius of a gifted human being, it turns out that the forces of nature are a rival to any of the creative giants that we have produced, and in some cases, even better!
Following on from a previous post, we here at GIGGAG have compiled a list of our favorite artworks created by Mother Nature, those accidental masterpieces that are a serendipitous result of the laws of physics and gravity, and the whims of light, wind and color. Scroll down below to check them out for yourself and take a closer look around you, you never know where accidental art might be hiding!
I'd love to see these in real life
Looks like a tiny world with mountains and a river in thr middle
This one actually isn't "accidental art" - Credit should be given to photographer Bing Wright who created a series of images "Broken Mirror/Evening Sky". The prints of the images are very large – 4′ across and 6′ tall. They used to be on display at the Paula Cooper Gallery in New York.
dude, the lights are on green...
Just like spectacular sunsets... meant to be enjoyed, but only for a brief moment in time.
looks like artic organ pipes, that would play music to chill the soul.
Great, now I’ma gonna hafta create like 120 fake Bored Panda accounts, just so I can upvote this more often. (Don’t worry, I won’t really do it!) 😆
I would totally frame this
the lighting of this picture looks like it was taken in autumn, i LOVE autumn, you get some warmth left over from summer, but a hint of the winter to come.
I've seen this occur before--it actually makes Christmas lights look even more magical!
Someone has iced your block paving!
This is beautiful. It looks like those aerial pictures of rivers and deltas.
I can see that wow
Tree just punked whomever cut it down
intricate coffee for an intricate wake up
like a big toblerone bar!
This i like!
It really does....
It also looks like a dandelion
Now tattoo it. Looks gorgeous.
The use of colour by the planter contributes to the effect - it would probably be an interesting garden even to walk through
Troll level; 1000
When did Australia become so big? xD
If this had enough depth of field it would be fractal. I love how immediately adjacent bubbles on a horizontal plane always have 120 degree intersections. Nature is amazing.
