#7 Kiwano
This melon is a native fruit from Africa (known as horned cucumber). The Kiwano (Cucumis metuliferus) is now being grown in the U.S. and is known there for its nickname blowfish fruit because of its appearance that is like a blowfish. The fruit is edible but usually it is used as a decoration on the food preparations. When ripe, the Kiwano has a yellow-orange skin and a lime green flesh.
